At Harvard, Grad Students Form A Picket Line Over Wages, Healthcare and Protections

Union members protest at Harvard University over an increasing number of harassment and discrimination cases in May. The union began an indefinite strike Tuesday, with one of their key proposals aimed at strengthening protections against harassment and discrimination.

Union leaders and university officials have been negotiating for over a year, yet a contract has not been agreed to. Grad students began an indefinite strike on the university’s last day of classes.
